Our Purpose
Friends of Vista Field created this web site to inform area residents of the purpose and value of Vista Field. Notice that the pictorial view above is a slide show of aerial views of Vista Field and the surrounding area. You can see the light industry that has developed around the airport along with retail businesses, the Justice Center, the Convention Center and the Coliseum.
Vista Field is unique in that it lies in an area convenient to industry and business, as well as within walking distance to hotels, restaurants, and shopping. The 4000 X 150 foot runway accommodates a large variety of aircraft and provides a choice landing area for visitors.
